| Well my workers comp case was thrown out because I did not attend the rescheduled hearing... I wasn't doing so well and I asked them to reschedule again (first time I didn't request it, the judge requested to)... the more I think about it, the more I don't think I would have had a good case... EVEN though the company screwed me to begin with on the injury... BUT the state ruled on January 29th that there is PROBABLE CAUSE for disability discrimination by the former employer. I am meeting with an employment attorney today to review my options. Even if I do not retain a lawyer, there will be a public hearing on the matter. I am just praying that justice is served in whatever way possible with these jerks. I am no longer working with AllState. Once again, my medical issues got in the way of my job. I desperately need to find a permanent job like now. NICE JOB BY THE PATRIOTS IN THE SUPER BOWL. WAY TO CRASH AND BURN!! Stupid cheaters. They got what they deserved. | | |
| waiting for an official response from the former company... heard it will come around this time and be "brief" (their words I believe)... I have a hearing set for Dec 4th with Workmens' Comp for wrongful termination because I reported an injury... if that goes in my favor, it could only help my overall case... I work for Allstate through a temp agency... stress-free(for the relative most part) except trying to figure out which day of the week I get paid(seems to change every week)... my son just got the best report card ever yesterday...
